Mr. Ong’ondo Wilberforce Omongo is the Senior Manager, Research, Data Analytics and Knowledge Management. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics (Applied) and Computer Science from the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT). He also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from JKUAT.  He is currently pursuing a PhD in Development Studies.  He has undertaken professional training in Securities , Financial Markets and other areas both locally and internationally. He has over 20 years’ experience in the Capital Markets Sector and Financial Sector. He is a Member of the Institute of Certified Investment & Financial Analysts (ICIFA).

He has served at the Authority at management level since 2002 as Assistant Manager ICT, Head of Research and Statistics and also as a Principal Officer, Market Infrastructure. He had previously worked as a Systems and Inventory Analyst at General Motors East Africa (Now Isuzu East Africa) and as a Computer Programmer/ Analyst at Lakestar Insurance Company Limited.
