Mr. Matthew Mukisu holds an MA. Economics degree (University of Nairobi), BSc. Agricultural Economics (Egerton University), Certified Public Accountant of Kenya CPA(K), and ACI Financial Markets Accreditation. He is a member of ICPAK (Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya) and ICIFA (Institute of Certified Investment and Financial Analysts of Kenya). He currently serves as a Council Member ICPAK.
Mr. Mukisu is a financial markets expert with over 20 years professional experience in both the public and private sectors covering the banking sector, capital markets, commodity exchanges and warehouse receipt systems development. Mr. Mukisu has honed in-depth competencies in Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), Asset Liability Management (ALM), Product Control, Product Development, Project Management, Policy development, Industry Regulations development, Stakeholder Management, Performance Management, and Multi-sectoral Team Management. He is currently working with the Capital Markets Authority (CMA) as the Senior Manager Commodities & Derivatives. He previously worked with the Commercial Bank of Africa as the Head of Financial Risk Management and with Standard Chartered Bank in various capacities with the last role being the Deputy Regional Head, Product Control Financial Markets Africa where I gained valuable exposure to regional financial markets.
