STRATEGIC DOCUMENTS
Overview
The CMA Strategic Plan 2023 – 2028 charts the strategic direction within our broad mandate of regulating and developing the capital and commodities markets for the next five years.
The development of the new Plan has been substantially informed by the need to enhance inclusivity in the markets, maintain institutional sustainability, enhance operational excellence, develop agility in dealing with emerging issues, build stakeholder confidence, and enhance governance, respectively.
It is envisioned that during the planning period, the capital markets will become a significant and viable source of investments and long-term financing contributing to national developmental aspirations and the socioeconomic well-being of Kenya. The Plan also envisages advancing the country’s aspirations towards becoming a Regional and International Financial Hub.
