Our CEO led a team of staff members in a tree planting exercise at the Ngong Forest, Lenana bloc. The team planted 1,010 trees, which will contribute to the reclamation of a previously degraded area. The Authority is committed to realising GoK’s vision of 30% tree cover.

Our chairperson Ugas Muhamed joined other chairpersons of state corporations in a tree planting initiative in Ngong Forest in support of the President’s agenda of planting 5 billion trees in the next 5 years. The initiative was facilitated by NETFUND Kenya.

Our Chairman Ugas Mohamed led a delegation comprising, our CEO Mr. Wyckliffe Shamiah, Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE) Chairman Mr. Kiprono Kittony, the CEO Mr. Geoffrey Odundo and Kenya Association of Stockbrokers and Investment Banks (KASIB) CEO Mr. Willie Njoroge to the Old Mutual CEO Arthur Oginga to discuss the requirements of listing on NSE.
